European suppliers will weed out filament lamp in 8 years

     

 European light bulb makers said they will weed out traditional incandescent light bulbs within eight years, to production of more environmentally friendly energy-saving light bulbs. 

 

        General Electric, Philips and other manufacturers of light bulbs, said the change would lead to household lighting carbon emissions dropped significantly, and for European consumers the cost savings of $ 9,400,000,000.
